Andy and Giles were privileged to support the Napa Lighted Art Festival in 2019 with two talks at the CIA Copia on Medieval Food and Drink. And enjoyed working with the chefs at the Institute on the tastings!

Being Human Festival, UK
We have taken part twice in the national Being Human Festival, presenting medieval food and drink in an exhibition format with live music. ‘Spices to Newcastle‘ included food tastings, demos and hands-on experiences.
Conference Dinners
Blackfriars and the Institute for Medieval and Early Modern Studies have joined forces for several time-travelling conference and alumni dinners to showcase the research and the collaboration between library and kitchen.
